Readers may also be interested in the writings home from the front of US Sgt. Sam Avery. Fascinating eyewitness history from the hot sands along the Rio Grande to the cold mud along the Meuse. Letters are posted on the same day they were written from the trenches 91 years ago, including rare letters from home that offer a glimpse into life on the Home Front. Long before the Greatest Generation there was the Most Gallant Generation. Come visit the blog and march along.

I am definitely a Pythagorean and wear the pentagram. So was Galileo and I believe Einstein as well although he never mentioned it to my knowledge. The reason I say that is because of the resemblance between Einstein's "music of the spheres" and the Pythagorean "harmony of the spheres."

I am also fascinated by Phi, the ratio of side to the base of the triangles of the pentagram, 1.618033989.... the only number which when squared increase by one and whose reciprocal decreases it by the same amount.

I believe eveything in the universe, animate and inanimate, was planned with the Plan now complete.
